Refund Policy

Introduction

This Refund Policy applies to all online diploma programs offered by Altar Africa, a professional learning and development hub committed to empowering entrepreneurs, young professionals, and postgraduate students.

By enrolling in any of our online diploma programs, participants agree to the terms outlined in this policy. This policy governs tuition fees, application fees, deferments, discontinuation, refunds, transfers, and related matters.

Application Fees

  • Application fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Application fees cover administrative processing, eligibility review, and onboarding evaluation.
  • Payment of the application fee does not guarantee admission into any program.
  • If an applicant withdraws before admission is confirmed, the application fee remains non-refundable.

Tuition Fees & Payment Structure

  • Tuition fees must be paid in full prior to the program start date unless a formal installment plan has been approved.
  • Participants enrolled under an installment plan must adhere strictly to the agreed payment schedule.
  • Failure to complete payment may result in suspension or removal from the program without refund eligibility.

Non-Refundable Components

The following are strictly non-refundable:

  • Application fees
  • Enrollment/registration fees
  • Downloadable resources already accessed
  • Digital toolkits or certification processing fees
  • Third-party platform fees (where applicable)

Fees-Related Errors

If a participant believes there has been a billing error:

  • The issue must be reported within 7 days of the transaction date.
  • Supporting documentation must be provided.
  • Confirmed errors will be corrected promptly.
  • Refunds resulting from confirmed errors will not incur administrative deductions.

Limitation of Liability

The Hub’s total liability for any claim related to tuition or fees shall not exceed the total amount of tuition fees paid by the participant.

The Hub is not liable for:

  • Personal scheduling conflicts
  • Internet connectivity issues
  • Device incompatibility
  • Personal financial hardship
  • Changes in career plans or business priorities

Enrollment in the program signifies acknowledgment and acceptance of these terms.

Policy Updates

The Hub reserves the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time.

  • Policy changes will not retroactively affect participants already enrolled under a previous version.
  • The most current version will always be available on our official website.

Continued enrollment constitutes acceptance of any updated policy terms.
